A beautiful pink and purple trike, what more could a 17 month old little girl want! First point of call was to put the trike together, job which I left to Phoebe's daddy. The instructions were easy to follow and within 45 minutes it was ready to be tested out. My little girl had no problem getting on the tirke and had a look of excitement as soon as she was sat down! The trike can be used in 3 different ways, all ranging from 10 months - 36 months. As my daughter is 17 months old, we set it up as the second stage trike. As the parent pushing the trike, we found it very easy to manoeuvre as the handle moves with the trike, you turn, the trike turns (quite nifty we thought). You can also adjust the handle up and down depending on height, which was perfect for myself and my partner as I am 5' and he is 6'! There are small steps which you can move up and down depending on the child's age/height; We had these down so Phoebe was able to get herself up and down and also she was able to rest her feet on them whilst the trike was in motion. The trike travels well and appeared comfortable as my daugher was on it for well over 20 minuites, we struggle to get her off of it and have to hide it when not in use! Looks very good and sturdy. Arrived in a very strong and colourful box. It took me approximately one hour to assemble this trike. Instructions were clear and precise and easy to follow. Had no concerns about my daughters using this trike as looked very safe. Pippa loved it as an alternative to going in the pram and she adored holding the handle bars. This really helped Pippa get used to holding onto handles. Rachel liked to try and pedal without the struggle of not going anywhere. Both my daughters loved this trike and enjoyed being pushed along. Having 2 girls they do like to place their dolly on the trike and give her a ride too. Good qualtiy for the price. I must admit we did have a problem with the clutch that disengages the front pedals as this did not work so the pedals still go round. I really loved the fact that I was able to steer the bike using the parental handle. Good value for money. The sunshade could do with being easily detachable rather than screwed on as on a windy day it did flap around a bit. Would certainly consider purchasing this trike as will last and good value for money. A very good sturdy colourful bike that both my girls loved to ride. Looked a bit daunting to assemble, great colour for Emelia and very practical and long lasting due to it's conversion. Packaging good clean clearly showed the product to it's best and easy to open. Was very easy to assemble even with two pairs of young hands taking pieces away all the time. Took me about 10 mintues to assemble. The kids had great fun helping me put this together and seeing the reward and being able to play with the bike afterwards. Had no concerns about age suitablility. The seat is very sturdy and a great idea to have the bar all around the seat to stop your toddlers from falling out and trying to climb out. Very adaptable so that your children can develop along with the various stages of the trike. I think one thing to add on would be a bell and mirrors so that they can have even more fun and enjoyment and give them just a little bit extra to hold their attention. Great trike for teaching them co-ordination and balance and their role play as Cameron has his own trike and they can chase each other and have rides out with both parents. This is also ver handy for small shopping trips as they can place shopping items in the basket at the back and push it along, then sit on the seat when they get tired. This is an excellent toy and great value for money as it will last through several stages of development for both children. Steering can sometimes feel a little awkward when using the parent handle. Would certainly consider buying this item as offers so much. Excellent product great value for money, very adaptable through various stages of child development, could do with a couple of small additions and steering can be hard.
